Alternative energy, is it possible in the near future?
I strongly agree with the need for alternative energy. It has been a big buzz word for sometime now but no announcement of real progress has been made of any sort toward finding a viable source.
Which makes wonder if we are we being blown a big cloud of smoke to blur the real truth about finding alternative energy sources?

Most all of us have read about the hydrogen gas generators and the claims to run your car on water.
Well, we all know you can’t pour water in your gas tank and drive your car!
What is done is water is used to produce hydrogen which can be burned as fuel.
The thought of running a car on water did intrigue me but it also sounded too good to be true so I performed my own mythbuster test, if you will, to find out.
I did not achieve running my jeep solely on water but I did manage to gain a solid 3 miles to the gallon (from 14 to 17) by using the hydrogen generator along with gasoline and the hydrogen that I produced was from an extremely small amount of water and I have yet to install a MAP Sensor which is supposed to improve mileage another 20% with this system.
Why does hydrogen help the fuel mileage I don’t know. I also don’t know how they send a picture to my TV but I know it works.
So if I can do this why aren’t, auto manufactures adding this to cars now, rather than spending all their time trying to build a car that can run solely on hydrogen.
Could it be that the consumer creating their own fuel will get into some fat cats pockets!
I mean come on, if I can gain a solid 3 miles to the gallon with less than a $100.00 in supplies from the hardware store you know the automotive engineers can do better.
My personal belief after this experiment is that fuel mileage can be greatly increased with hydrogen and although I didn’t manage to run my jeep solely on hydrogen I believe it can be done and there are claims of cars that exist today that do.
So why aren’t we seeing more publicity on this? Hmmm.
Most of the coverage I’ve seen down plays the results. Hmmm.
I know this works and it pisses me off that something so simple with great benefits is not being used today.
The average person doesn’t have the confidence or the time to dig around on the net to build one of their own, even though many sites on the net sell the instructions to do it yourself, but I believe most would buy an automobile with it factory installed.
So again why don’t the new 2009 models have built in hydrogen generators? Hmmm?
Probably the same reason we’re not using wind, clean coal, or nuclear.
