Namie Amuro (安室 奈美恵, born September 20, 1977) is a Japanese R&B and Pop singer, entertainer, and former actress, who, at the height of her popularity, was referred to as the “Teen Queen” and is referred to as the “Queen of Japanese pop music”.

On October 1, 2009, hairstyling company Vidal Sassoon released new commercials featuring Amuro and two tracks from her expected album, “My Love” and “Copy That.”
Namie released her ninth studio album, Past < Future, on December 16, 2009. Released in CD and CD+DVD format, it contained her latest single "Wild/Dr.", and was supported by airplay and video clips of several of the new songs on the album. The album became her sixth number-one original studio album and in terms of sales, surpassed her last studio album, Play.
On May 18, 2010, Amuro attended the World Music Awards, receiving an award for "Best Artist From Asia", and also performed "Hide & Seek". The show will be aired on June 6, 2010 on ABC.
Her next single "Break It/Get Myself Back" was released on July 28, 2010.
