Kimberley Jane Walsh (born 20 November 1981) is an English pop singer-songwriter, dancer, model, television presenter and actress best known for being a member of the band Girls Aloud.

In 2002, Walsh auditioned for ITV’s Popstars The Rivals. She did not initially make it into the group of ten female contestants who were to appear on the show. However, when another contestant was disqualified on a technicality, Walsh found herself on the show. She made it through to the final five, who formed a girl group named Girls Aloud. The group has gone on to release five studio albums, and had 21 consecutive UK Top 10 singles.
Girls Aloud have been “on hiatus” since 2009, and three of the members have released solo material. Walsh has not announced any intentions to do likewise. Walsh has held her position against the rumours of Girls’ Aloud splitting. She has since stated that she wants the band back to record new material with a “more mature” sound.
