Julie Banderas (born September 25, 1973) is an American television news correspondent and weekend anchor for the Fox News Channel. She replaced Laurie Dhue as the anchor of Fox Report Weekend after Dhue left FNC on March 15, 2008. She graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.

Went by her birth name Julie Bidwell while at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia and at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She is a paternal descendent of John Bidwell. Her father’s name is Howard D. Bidwell.
She is partially of Colombian descent, hence the use of the Spanish name.
On September 21, 2008, Banderas announced her engagement on Fox News. Her fianceé, Andrew J. Sansone, proposed with a message in a bottle while they were out clam digging on Long Island Sound.
She is a Pescetarian.

Banderas began her career at WLVI-TV in Boston. Later, she served as a local news anchor for WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut; WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia; and WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Banderas was a weekend anchor for WNYW-TV in New York City before joining Fox News in March 2005.

Banderas won an Emmy in 2004 at WNYW-TV for “Outstanding Single Newscast” in her coverage of the Republican National Convention. Banderas married Andrew J. Sansone, founder and president of BigAppleChannel.com, on August 29, 2009, at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York.
