Jessica Szohr was cast as Vanessa Abrams in The CW Teen Drama television series Gossip Girl. She became an additional series regular in the series first season after the fourteenth episode The Blair Bitch Project. The series is currently in its third season and has been renewed for a fourth.
She has appeared in small roles in films such as Somebody Help Me, The Reading Room and Fired Up. Szohr signed on for Dimension Films Piranha 3-D as Kelly in May, 2009. The film which began filming in June 2009 is set to be released in August 2010.
