The New Your Times recently ran a story asking if Barack was the “magic negro”? I had to do some research but I found out that the term was an old Hollywood term referring to a scene in which a white person was in trouble and out of nowhere a black man would appear and save them. Rush Limbaugh took the story to the political parody level and played Paul Shanklin’s song on the subject.
