Riccobono was born in 1983 in Palermo, the largest city in Sicily. Her father is Sicilian and her mother is German. When Riccobono was 17, the Italian magazine Corriere della Sera named her “the new Laetitia Casta” because of facial similarities. She started traveling internationally and has appeared on magazine covers such as Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, L’Officiel, Vanity Fair, and Italian Playboy.
She has also posed for the 2003 Pirelli Calendar, shot by Bruce Weber. In 2008, Riccobono was engaged to be the testimonial for a new satellite channel about luxury and lifestyle: High Life TV. Riccobono was shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz for the 2009 “Lavazza Calendar”, for which she was featured on the cover.
In 2009, she became the new face of Argentovivo for their spring/summer campaign.
