Eddie Murphy dated former Spice Girl Melanie Brown for a while. They went splitsville but not before her getting pregnant. Melanie has given up hope of her daughter ever building a relationship with her father because she says the actor doesn’t want to meet his little girl.

The former Spice Girl will be hosting Oxygen’s weight-loss dance show “Dance Your Ass Off.”

But after their split, Murphy snubbed his ex and claimed Angel Iris, now two, couldn’t be his – until a DNA test proved him to be her dad.

And Brown has told the Hollywood star Murphy has no intention of ever meeting the girl.

She also told Britain’s Hello! magazine, “I have full custody of Angel and that’s about it. He Eddie doesn’t see her, doesn’t want to see her. That’s just the way it is. She’s very content. She doesn’t know any different.”

Brown, now married to movie producer Stephen Belafonte, also has another daughter, Phoenix Chi, 10, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.

Another child left with an un-fillable hole in her soul because of a parent that refuses to take responsibility.

How about you call 1-800-who’s your daddy Eddie and put this thing to rest. If your not Melanie should know and if you are God help Angel Iris because she will suffer for it. Children need both parents to grow up to be the person they should be.

Sadly, Parental Rights Advocate Robert G. Lasheff has Died

I just received an email with the sad news that Robert G. Lasheff of Illinois has passed away on the evening of July 17th.

Robert was a longstanding and dedicated advocate for Equal Parenting Rights. In his home state of
Illinois, Robert fought the courts for years for access to his daughters often under difficult circumstances while simultaneously working as an organizer for other parents and advocates.

Robert was a member of the Greater Chicago Ron Paul Campaign For Liberty as well as many others fighting for our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and was an active participant in the fight for fathers and mothers to be activity involved in their children’s lives.

Among his writings was a letter to Alren Spector that I found particulary interesting. Here is the complete text of the letter….

Dear Senator Specter;

We are writing you this letter with a matter that not only concerns us as individuals but a matter we feel is of great National Concern and is currently affecting a very large number of Americans negatively that have committed no crime greater then seeking Justice and Redress in our Courts…….”Power is the great evil with which we are contending. We have divided power between three branches of government and erected checks and balances to prevent abuse of power. However, where is the check on the power of the judiciary? If we fail to check the power of the judiciary, I predict that we will eventually live under judicial tyranny.”

Mr. Henry’s concerns for our future are now prophetically a reality and must be addressed with all due diligence if our Nation is to survive. ” We the People” cannot, will not, must not tolerate the growing assaults on our American Constitution. Courts that run innocent American Families into total ruin with reckless abandon through attorneys that have no ethical values as they are in reality answerable to no one. Judges that have absolutely no respect for Constitutional Law, U.S. Code or even State Statute as they in reality have no one that they are Accountable too other then a group of their peers, and as they often are fond of stating “Well it’s My Court Room” Our courts have no -respect for those that have been driven to act in pro-per because their prior council has striped then financially; Arrogant threat, insult and intimidation have become routine in our family courts.
Many otherwise good parents are being driven to suicide, murder or other acts of violence which is directly incited, induced or even promoted by long term abuses and violations in our Family Courts.

Sir; there is a great deal of pain and suffering here all in the name of Profit.& Power. An extreme measure of Anger, Resentment and Activism is steadily growing toward our Judiciary and the ABA in general and we feel certain that this issue is rapidly becoming one of the greatest single threats to this Nations Security. THEREFORE, it is with the utmost urgency that we request a full Congressional Investigation and Hearing into these matters.

On December 6, 2007 Sergio Baca and his friend Chad Altman set fire to an Albuquerque, New Mexico Abortion facility. They have been sentenced to 46 and to 40 months in federal prison. They must also split restitution of the damages caused by the fire, which totaled $796,531.92.

The pair had no connection to the pro-life movement but said they set the building on fire because Baca’s ex-girlfriend was going to have an abortion there the next day. Baca reportedly hoped to stop his ex-girlfriend from aborting his child.

U.S. Attorney Greg Fouratt commented on the crime after the hearing, saying that it “wasn’t a case about religious views. Let’s call them what they were, two knuckleheads who were seeking to deter one woman from getting an abortion of pregnancy that was caused by one of those two men.”

Federal Judge John Conway told the pair. “I don’t know why you did this. This is the dumbest thing you could have done in your life.”

“It was a careless act,” said Baca before sentencing, saying he was sorry that he carried it out.

With all this talk of a womans right to choose, fathers rights are ignored. Even to the point of not having a say in whether his child will be born or aborted. I believe it the ultimate fathers rights issue and the ultimate form of parental alienation.
