Adam Jasinski, the winner of Big Brother Season 9, was arrested on October 19, 2009 and charged by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in North Reading, MA for possession of 2,000 oxycodone pills with intent to distribute.
Jasinski admitted funding his illegal venture with his $500,000 winnings from the show, and to buying and reselling oxycodone pills for several months. He faced a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine, but worked out a deal where would serve four years.
Adam Jasinski was busted in a sting operation in 2009 when he tried to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to a government informant.
Jasinski plead guilty to drug possession with attempt to distribute and failure to file a tax return in 2008, the year he won his $500,000 prize on the show.
