CPS Does Not Protect Children

Senator Nancy Schaefer spoke out against Child Protective Service and the abuse of children.

CPS Does not protect children…
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even killed at the hands of Child Protective Services.

CPS is funded on a pay-per-kid basis. No kids in the system = no money. Then there are the bonuses. Up to $60,000.00 per kid taken from their natural parents and adopted out. Nothing for keeping families together. Most workers are good people trying to protect children. Some are not.

They say they help orphans but when is the last time you saw an orphan?

They create orphans by finding abuse everywhere they look. Some counties take away 90% of the kids they have contact with, some less than 10%.

These numbers come from The National Center on Child Abuse and Neglect in Washington. (NCCAN) Recent numbers have increased significantly for CPS .

*Perpetrators of Maltreatment*

These numbers are based on the number of cases per 100,000 children in the US.

Child Protective Sevices vs. Parental Abuse
Physical Abuse CPS/Foster care 160 Biological Parents 59
Sexual Abuse CPS/Foster care 112 Biological Parents 13
Neglect CPS/Foster care 410 Biological Parents 241
Medical Neglect CPS/Foster care 14 Biological Parents 12
Fatalities CPS/Foster care 6.4 Biological Parents 1.5

6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per 100,000 children.
CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse and kills more children than parents in the United States.

Senator Nancy Schaefer was murdered a couple months back. They called it murder suicide. We may never know the truth.

One Response to "CPS Does Not Protect Children"

  1. Gay Yuhas says:

Can someone help my family. My granddaughter was sexually abused by her father. My daughter went to a therapist so that she would report it to CPS.

They went through the Family Court, which in the end said there was no proof and now the father has visitation rights to the other 3 children, one who he has touched her and said inappropriate things to her on her first visit. This incident was also reported and nothing is to be done to make sure that the father does not have unsupervised visitation with him.

We are afraid that he will get 50% of custody of the children. He has abused the mother and children in several different ways. Where can we go to get protection from the inadequate response from the court and CPS?

I have called every agency listed on the web and none will help.

    Thank you for any suggestions.
