Who is Collins Tuohy?
With the thousands of people pouring into the blog for information on the Tuohy family made famous by the recent debut of “The Blindside” movie, I realized I had neglected a major player in Michael Oher’s life, his adopted sister Collins Tuohy.
While Michael was rising to fame on the football fields at Ole Miss his biggest fan was cheering on the sidelines. Collins was an Ole Miss Cheerleader, being the same age as Oher she went to college right along with him. She joined the Kappa Delta sorority.
In 2008 she was President of the Student Alumni Council.
“What we did for Michael was to give him tools to succeed and to have his back when he needed it and to love him, it’s amazing what happens when you give a child a little bit of love.” Collins Tuohy.

I personally now am curious about things I have no right to wonder.
Particularly, the relationship within the Tuohy family. Does Michael loved/feel loved by his family, or is he mostly thankful for what they have done? Do Leigh Anne and Sean feel good that they have done a good deed, or do they love their adopted son? Being an adopted son myself from near birth I understand these situations to an extent but not at all with an older child.
I think it’s absolutley wonderful what’s gone on but I definitely hope they feel wholly as a family together. I have read/heard things that imply this but Michael in interviews refers mostly to his thankfulness and ‘that they helped him’ rather than their love for him, and his love for them. But that may just be a private matter as it should be.
What the Tuoly’s Did for michle is what i would have done no child should go through what michle went through michle has and always be a good kid i know he love his family and always will his family means the world to him. I know this cause the Movie the blind side is pretty self given and tells you a story and how more people should be. Michle Oher i a very good football player and loves the game aswell as his Family Lea Anne,Sean,SJ and Collin.As for the Tuolys i hope all is well and hope you guys have a wonderfull christmas hollyday.
