The New York Post reported that Alexa Ray Joel took eight Traumeel pills, panicked and called 911 saying she was having trouble breathing.

Some are saying it was a suicide attempt but I don’t think thats likely. Trameel is similiar to ibuprofen that requires a prescription.
The singer, Alexa Ray Joel did break up with her fellow performer Jimmy Riot but that was a dozen months ago.
“I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support,” said the daughter of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Billy Joel and legendary supermodel Christie Brinkley said in the statement.
Alexa has cancelled a couple of appearances and is resting with family.
She recently posted on MySpace: “Is anybody else finding it a difficult “dating world” out there? I’m so terrible at dating – I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it!”
“And I HATE the game-playing! I live in the greatest city in the world and I can’t seem to meet an interesting guy who also happens to be NICE. Go figure… ”
