Winfrey Interview with Palin Earns Show’s Best Ratings in Years
Obama supporter Oprah Winfrey, who vowed last year that Palin would not be on her couch, interviewed Sarah Palin Monday and the ratings skyrocketed. Oprah’s popular TV daytime show has been in a small decline for the last few years but for one day with Palin’s following it was the must see show of the week.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah’s appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday earned an 8.7 household rating and a 13 share.
Sarah Palin may be stepping up her game for 2012 presidential election.
On the show, Palin discussed her feelings on soon to be Playgirl Playmate Levi Johnston, her disasterous interview with CBS left-wing hatchet-girl Katie Couric (whom she referred to as ‘The Perky One’) as well as her possible run for the White House in 2012. “It’s not on my radar screen right now,” she told Winfrey.
To promote her new memoir, Going Rogue, Palin also sat down with Barbara Walters and the news powerhouse, Bill O’Reily. The final part of both interviews will air today, Nov. 20.
A lot of people are uneasy about a President Palin but I feel pretty confident we wouldn’t be running this 2 trillion dollar deficit and giving billions to billionaires right now if she was in that famous big chain in the Oval Office. It might be nice to follow up last years historic election with a strong, confident female.
