“We have a gentleman here who needs help, he’s not breathing, we’re trying to pump him but he’s not breathing,” Alverez told emergency services on the call, made in the early afternoon last Thursday.
Alberto’s Alverez wife Anna told RadarOnline.com outside the couple’s modest home in Pomona, Calif., on Thursday night that her husband is distraught over Michael’s Jackson’s death – and over the fact that he was inside the mansion at the time of the fatal emergency.
Alberto Alverez is the Jackson security guard who called 911 while Dr. Conrad Murray gave the singer CPR. He could be a key witness in the investigation into Jackson’s death.
“My husband is very upset and he needs some time. He won’t be home for a while,” Anna told RadarOnline.com, adding that Alberto was staying at an undisclosed location. It is unclear why he is not staying at home and if police have told him not to talk to anyone.
The Los Angeles police have questioned Alberto.
Anna Alverez wouldn’t tell reporters what her husband told LAPD and she refused to discuss what he told her about his 911 call seeking help for the stricken pop star.
Alberto’s sister Monica also arrived at the home Thursday to assist Anna.
A short while after Alverez’s call, the pop star was picked up by paramedics and taken to UCLA Medical Center, where medical personnel worked on the star for an hour before pronouncing him dead.
