Hows this sound?
Your wife or husband has a medical problem. You take her/him down to the local clinic. There’s 50 million people, including illegals immigrants, freshly signed up for Obamacare. The wait is exhausting but your loved one needs medical attention so you wait and wait.
You finally get in to see the doctor and are checked out and told there needs to be some testing. The good Doctor has you fill out some forms, on the computer of course because a committee of beaurocrats have been appointed to decide whether or not your going to get your tests and they will need access to your personal information.
Everything is online now, your medical records, employment, earnings, age, life expectancy and maybe even the amount of taxes you pay because this committee will need as much information as they can get to make a good decision as to your healthcare request.
In a few weeks you get your email that you have been approved for your testing and you get an appointment date for some time early next year. YEAH! You wait the appointed time, go in for your testing and the results are uploaded to the web for your doctors and the beaurocrats viewing, as well as any good hacker and maybe your insurance company because after all they have donated millions to the administration that brought you ObamaCare.
OK, back to the clinic for the results. Its not terrible news but you will need a very expensive minor procedure. Its back to the computer again for you and your doctor, he needs to convince the beurocrats you need the procedure so you can live a normal life again.
Send in everything that you believe will sway their opinion in your spouses favor because as you know, 50 million people have signed up for ObamaCare, including illegal immigrants and there is a deep recession going on.
An email arrives in a few months. YEAH! Your approved for your procedure! But the good Doctor has to get the procedure done and get you out in a jiffy, you know there’s 50 million signed up on this new plan, including illegal immigrants, and hospital beds are extremely hard to come by.
President Barack Obama’s Democratic allies are questioning whether the White House had the votes necessary for a such a costly and comprehensive plan especially during a recession.
Obama’s proposal to provide health insurance for some 50 million people who lack it has become a contentious point for a Democratic-controlled House and Senate struggling to reach a consensus Obama desperately wants.
Much of the concern came after the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated that the plan would cost nearly two times Obama’s estimate. One trillion over 10 years but cover only about one-third of those now lacking health insurance.
