Today offically kicks off our blog training and I’m going to address one of the biggest questions right off the bat that I get all of the time which is…..
Now – that question has more than one answer simply because you’re not just going to do "one thing" (like press a button) and magically make money on eBay. It doesn’t work that way. Actually there are 5 essential areas to building a successful eBay business that you need to know and I call them the "CORE 5". Here they are ….

Product
-
Traffic
-
Conversions
-
Service
Each core area is a contributing factor to the overall success of YOU making money on eBay consistently and endlessly. And if you fall short in any one of the Core 5 areas then your eBay business will be short lived or worse, you will always struggle to make ends-meat. So today I’m going to start with the most crucial area of the CORE 5 which is the Market.
And here’s the reason why…..
You will never know "how to make money on eBay" until you understand what the Market wants. This is the first step and the most important decision that you will ever make when it comes to making money on eBay.
It doesn’t start with your product, nor does it start with your traffic, conversion or customer service skills although they are extremely important and will play a vital role in your overall success. Nope, it starts in the Market and for good reason….
It’s The "Core" Of Your Business!
In other words, the Market ultimately decides YOUR financial outcome (it always has and always will). Get this right and you’re set to experience some massive success. Get it wrong and well, ……you’re hosed!
Now I know that sounds a bit brutal but it’s just the cold hard facts of business. See, you can have all of the greatest skills in business but if you bring an Eskimo ice……he ain’t buying!
And unfortunately most sellers are always selling ice to Eskimos by bringing their product straight into the marketplace without ever researching the Market first to see if their product is actually what consumers want, are passionately willing to spend money on, are actively buying right now by the truck loads or …..if it’s a winnable/profitable market to enter into.
Bringing a product straight into the Market without research is actually backwords (Fire, Aim, Ready) from how it works but it may seem normal to you because that’s how everybody else does it. The truth is….
"You never bring a product to the market. You always
bring the market to your product".
In other words, you research the Market first to find out what people want or what they’re already actively buying by the droves and then YOU sell "that" to them.
Here’s the bottom line…..
The financial success of your eBay business will always hinge here in the Market by how well you diligently….

This is actually the first step when it comes to "how to make money on eBay". And I’ll be covering the entire market research process over the next coming weeks as I teach you how to find out what people want.
But for right now you need to understand that when it’s all said and done – YOUR role in the Market is to sell people what they want. Not what you want. Not what you think they want and surely not what you hope they want to buy.
