Megyn Kelly Interviews Greenpeace on Toilet Paper

Fox News Anchor Megyn Kelly interviews Greenpeace Forests Campainer Rolf Skar on recycled toilet paper. She hosts a blind softness test between tissue made from recycled pulp and tissue made from ancient forests. Her co-host Bill Hemmer chooses the recycled paper.

She correctly challenges him on his repeated statement that toilet paper is made from “ancient forests.” Toilet paper is made for pine trees. Not just any pine trees, pine trees that are planted with the sole intention of cutting them down to make paper.

I’m not for trashing the planet by any means but environmental activists really need to realize that trees are grown just like crops. They are harvested just like any other crop and our world would a very different place without these crops.

What happens to uncut trees? Ask anyone in California during the forest fire season. They grow old, fall over, litter the forest with kindling and anxiously await a lightning strike to catch fire and burn your house down. You see, trees are not the friendly giants you assume they are. Forest fires and decaying trees are one of the leading producers of the greenhouses gasses AlGore tells those scary stories about. :)

Oh, a great analysis! I have no clue how you came up with this article..it’d take me long hours. Well worth it though, I’d suspect. Have you considered selling advertising space on your blog?
