February 03, 2009 The Senate today went to work on cutting down the extremely expensive, so called stimulus package. After the days work they had made a lot of headway. The 819 billion dollar package had been reduced to 900 billion. (thats not a typo)

This kind of bill, once known as pork-barrel spending, is pretty much assured to pass as soon as every liberal Senator gets his billions guaranteed. Most logical thinkers, who have studied this bill, say its almost all pork will do little to stimulate anything except for a bunch of liberal activists. Add in the fact that 3/4ths of the money will not even come into the system for 3 to 4 years and you have yourself a massive barrel of pork.

I was looking over the numbers and came up with a better plan. If its all pork I’ll take mine in chops. Pork chops are currently selling at $2.95 per pound. With 305 million people in the country and 900 billion to spend that’s approximately 1,000 pounds of pork for every man woman and child in America.

This won’t help the overall economy for many, unless of course you happen to have a 305,084,745,762 pound pig to sell, but at least we won’t go hungry.

These idiots are completely out of control and nothing will stop them from borrowing money in our name and spending it on anything they see in a store window. Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, is right now begging several other countries to borrow 67 billion dollars just to get the federal government by for the next 2 weeks. We are totally dependant on China just to get by and these traitors in the Senate are debating on whether to borrow and spend 829 or 925 billion.
