George Anthony, a once proud father of Casey and Lee Anthony.
Its 1 am on Friday January 23 and George Anthony sits in a cheap motel in Daytona Beach, Florida. He has taken a few pills and intends to take the rest and end his life. He writes a suicide note and text’s his wife to tell her goodbye. A once proud husband and father on Casey and Lee Anthony he is now a broken and desperate man.
George Anthony disappeared a few days ago and text-ed his family that he wanted to be with Caylee and he intended on committing suicide. He was found alive with a suicide note on Friday morning.
George is a father, grandfather, husband and provider for the Anthony family. he has been through the unbelievably trying time of having his granddaughter killed and his daughter Casey Anthony accused of the horrific crime.

After months of standing behind his daughter, the press camped outside his house 24/7 and the stress of all the financial problems all this has created he is finally gone as far as he can go. After a visit to a job fair where he was reportedly told he was un-employable due to the massive press attention he is unwillingly attracting, he checked in to the Hawaii motel and decided to end his life.
The Orange County and Volusia County Sheriff’s Office tracked him down by the cell phone ping to his wife and he agreed to check himself in to Halifax Medical Center for treatment.
George has become the target of hate mail, protesters, and a media blitz. He has been accused of knowing his daughter killed Caylee and protecting her, helping Casey hide her body and there even have reports that he is a child molester that fathered his own granddaughter.

I don’t believe he is any of these things.
I think George Anthony has been a rock of support in troubled times for his family and as it often is with people that everyone counts on for support, no one ever thought to make sure he was doing ok.
Hang in there George, I cannot imagine what you have been forced to deal with.
