Guy Ritchie Wants the Kids Not Madonna’s Cash

Madonna and her estranged hubby, Guy Ritchie, have reached a divorce settlement, which will be presented in a London courtroom Friday.

The case will be heard before a judge in the High Court’s Family Division . Both are entitled to attend the court, although in most high-profile celebrity cases people choose not to.

The Daily Telegraph reported yesterday that Ritchie will not accept any of Madonna’s money and has instead insisted on sharing custody of the couple’s two children.

Their sons, Rocco, 8, and David, 3, will split their time between New York City and London.

Madonna, who has an estimated fortune of about $450 million, and Ritchie, who is said to be worth about $30 million, announced their separation last month.

The pair has been married for nearly eight years. Madonna’s wanting to adopt another child and spend more time in America is allegedly what put the strains on their relationship. And then there were those rumors about Madonna and Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez . . .

So barring any last minute catastrophes they will settle tomorrow and the kids will have a shared parenting plan, Thank God. Children Need Both Parents especially in the trying times of divorce.

Their lawyers are said to be deeply depressed over the couples unlikely cooperation having missed out on the normal long expensive court battle that generally transfers all the formerly married couple’s assets to their respective attorneys.

Hang in there guys, maybe one of them will refuse the other parents visitation time and a battle will erupt and you can get your greedy hands on the cash. (sorry, I had to throw that in).
