The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Barack Obama attracting 50% of the vote nationwide while John McCain earns 47%. This is the first time McCain has been within three points of Obama in more than a month and the first time his support has topped 46% since September 24. One percent (1%) of voters prefer a third-party option and 2% are undecided.
McCain’s lead in Georgia is down to five points while Obama has a double digit lead in Minnesota. Today, at noon Eastern, new data will be released for North Carolina. Later, result will be posted on the race in Iowa and New Hampshire. Additional state polling will be released over the weekend.
Thirty-six percent (36%) of voters have already cast their ballots or plan to vote early this year. That figure includes 37% of Obama supporters and 35% of those for McCain. Forty-nine percent (49%) of African-American voters say they will be voting early. Voters not affiliated with either major party are far less likely to vote early than partisans.
If Barack Obama wins its clearly because of the women voters of this country. A +16 point lead for female and behind -3 points in male. 19% is a huge difference. Seems the women of this country are loving the Obama Koolaide.
McCain’s Health Insurance Rebate and Barack’s Government Controlled Health Care Plan seems to be mute points with many voters saying they do not understand fully either canidates plan.
Something I’ve been thinking about. The press takes the polls and reports the polls. The press also receives most all the millions of dollars in donations that are made to the candidates, obviously it is spent mostly on ads on their networks.
With this knowledge one can wonder if the press manipulates the numbers as to bring the most donations and advertising money in. Seems every few days they report a new surge in one or the others percentage, giving the one they report to be behind the feeling to spend a few million more.
No, I guess I’m wrong, these upright patriotic citizens with the press would never do anything like that would they?

If Obama, the Manchurian candidate, is elected, I forsee another revolution to restore this country back to compliance with the Declaration of Independence. There are too many patriots remaining to tolerate a Socialistic Goverment.Take the money from us and give it to someone else?
