The United States Supreme Court ruled that Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense and hunting. It was the justices’ first major pronouncement on gun rights in history. The 5-4 ruling struck down the District of Columbia’s 32-year-old ban on handguns as incompatible with gun rights under the Second Amendment. The decision went further than even the Bush administration wanted, but probably leaves most firearms laws intact. Within two days, lawsuit were filed in San Francisco and Chicago challenging similar handgun bans.
United States Constitution Amendment II
“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. ”
This Ruling with four of the nine judges siding against our individual constitutional right to own guns leads me to this conclusion.
Four out of nine United States Supreme Court Judges can’t read.
If your Supreme Court Judge is facing reading difficulties, you are not alone. Nearly 50% of all U.S. Supreme Court Judges cannot read at grade level. Yet there is a significant amount of evidence that research-based instruction built around proven practices could put most of these judges back on the track to success.
A researcher who worked to establish the research basis for effective reading instruction, and a marketing and communications executive, have joined forces because they feel that families are key to putting these proven practices for effective instruction into every courtroom in America.
They know that it won’t be easy to bring about long-term change but they have recommended Reading the United States Constitution out loud over and over to them while they are in court, might help them learn: First, This method of teaching requires only reading in plain English; second, share successes of other courts and judges who have made needed changes in courtrooms; and third, give the Supreme Court Judges and the Highest Court in the Land the gift of reading English, the tool they must obtain to fulfill their duties We The People have given to them.
The first three words of The Constitution of the United States are WE THE PEOPLE therefore it is the people’s document written to protect -We the People- from our Government, Having Judges that can’t clearly read this document is unacceptable so please, do all you can to teach your judges to read.
