After destroying the American tomato farmers lives this year, by miss-reporting that the salmonella was coming from the tomato, Dr. Lonnie King, who directs the center for food borne illnesses at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says “We have a smoking gun, it appears.” The salmonella strain linked to a nationwide outbreak has been found in irrigation water and in a sample from a batch of serrano peppers at a Mexican farm, federal health officials said Wednesday. This picture was taken on the fourth of July directly in front of the Veterans Cemetery in Westwood.
