Annie Duke: Author, mother, television star, Celebrity Apprentice contestant, and - most importantly a world-class poker player. After making her family's mortgage payments by playing in local poker rooms, she signed up for the 1994 World Series of Poker at the urging of her brother, Howard Lederer. After finishing 13th in her first WSOP and winning $70,000 in her first month of professional poker play, Annie Duke's future was set. Over the course of the next decade, she played fiercely and won, taught Ben Affleck how to win at the tables and took tenth place in the WSOP while eight months pregnant with her third child.
